脉管肿瘤与脉管畸形的临床特点及治疗
Clinical Characteristics and Therapies of Vascular Tumors and Vascular Malformations

Abstract
[Objective] This hospital based retrospective study assessed some clinical characteristics and therapies for patients with vascular anomalies (vascular tumors or vascular malformations) in southeast China. [Methods]A total of 592 vascular anomalies patients, admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University from January 2006 to September 2009, were enrolled in the study. Data for clinical characteristics and therapies were collected and analyzed. [Results] Of the 592 cases, vascular tumors and vascular malformations accounted for 31.6% and 68.4%, respectively. The most commonly involved areas of vascular tumors and vascular malformations were head and neck (41.2%) and lower limbs (37.0%), separately. 8.6% of patients with vascular tumors had definite symptoms, comparing 30.9% of patients did in vascular malformations group. 12.3% of lesions involved muscle, bone or joint in vascular tumors, which was significantly lower than that (60.1%) in vascular malformations (P<0.001). What's more, there were different choices for therapies in these two groups. [Conclusions] Due to the clinical heterogeneity in vascular tumors and vascular malformations, therapies should be undertaken individually.关键词
