摘要

Abstract

The structure characteristic and technique difficulty of large low carbon stainless steel water turbine band were analyzed. To produce the band, silicate bonded sand was molded, induction furnace smelting and compound refinement were adopted, suitable gating system and insulated feeder were designed, by using simulating solidification process of band to predict defects, and the suitable heat treatment process was designed in production. The production practice shows that the chemical composition, mechanical properties meet requirements; product quality is qualified and the cost decreased; and valuable experiences were provided for the production of high quality large low carbon stainless steel casting.
