摘要

Abstract

Vegetation coverage is not only an important parameter for depicting land surface vegetation quantity, but also an important index for indicating ecosystem variation. With RS measurement as study means, the current common four models were discussed, including vegetation index model, sub-pixel model, mixed spectral model and spectral gradient model. The advantages and disadvantages were analyzed, and how to improve the measurement precision of vegetation coverage was discussed. It was put forward that hyperspeetral data, multi-scale remote sensing data, digital camera and comprehensive use of airborne remote sensing are the development trend for improving measurement precision of vegelation coverage.
