Content of Cu and Zn in Pig Feeds and Their Residual Character in Pig Manures from Intensive Piggery in Guangxi

摘要

Abstract

[Objective] To study the contents of Cu,Zn in pig feeds and their residual character in pig feeds from the intensive piggery of Guangxi in order to provide references for using pig manures rationally. [ Method] 35 pig feed samples and 47 pig manure samples were collected from the intensive pig-farms of Guangxi and the contents of Cu and Zn in the samples were determined. [ Result ] The average contents of Cu ,Zn in pig feeds were 159.4 mg/kg and 238.2 mg/kg, respectively, and the contents of these heavy metals in pig manures were 828.0 mg/kg and 1 330.2 mg/kg,respectively. Moreover,the content of Cu and Zn in pig manures had significant positive correlation with that in the pig feeds. The results also indicated that the proportion of the exchangeable Cu,carbonate combined Cu and the total Cu in the pig manures were 34.3% and 18.6%, respectively,as to Zn,the proportion were 8,6% and 6.5% ,respectively. [Conclusion] According to the standards for pig breeding in China and the limitations of mature compost in Germany,the content of Cu and Zn in the feeds and manures exceeded extremely the limitations. Therefore, the utilization of pig manures with high Cu and Zn content might cause the potential pollution risk to farmland and agricultural products.
