Dynamics feature simulation analysis of a depressed center flat car system

Abstract
Based on the theories of elastic body, the vibration features of chassis frame in a depressed center flat car were studied in details. By combining the theories of multibody system dynamics and finite element, and after correctly simulating many concerned factors in the vehicle system, the rigid-flexible coupling dynamics model of the vehicle system including the elastic vibration features of the chassis frame was established to calculate its dynamics features. At the same time, the influencing results of operating velocity and other concerned parameters on its dynamics response were also studied, and compared in details with the testing results to obtain relative errors between them. It is shown that from above analysis the maximum value of relative errors of its dynamics response on referenced points of the vehicle system is 3.84 per cent which is within the limits permitted by engineering. The method presented here can greatly reduce the calculation of vehicle multibody system, improve calculation speed, and ensure the precision of solution simultaneously, which can meet the analysis of structural vibration in vehicle system.关键词
