Abstract
Yayue is regarded as perfect music by Confucianism, but most people do not accept this kind of music. Marquis Wei even said that Yayue made a man drowsy, while the Music of the States of Zheng and Wei in- spired a man with enthusiasm. King Xuan of the State of Qi also indicated that he did not like Yayue but music of the States of Zheng and Wei. Why Yayue is so unwelcome？ The thesis discusses this issue lowing aspects ： 1. the comparison between Yayue and the music of states of Zheng and Wei shows of Yayue was restrained to meet the musical esthetic thought of harmoniousness of Confucianism ; on musical instruments and performing methods by Confucianism caused the decreasing musicality through enjoyed the fol- that moderation reform of music of Yayue.关键词
