Green-red Emission for ZnAl2O4:Mn Nanocrystals
摘要
Abstract
ZnAl2O4 crystals doped with 1.5% Mn ions were prepared by using sol-gel method,and the structure and photoluminescence properties of the samples were studied by X-ray diffractometry(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and photoluminescence(PL) spectroscopy.It is shown that the diffraction peaks become more intense and the crystalline structure of the film is improved with the increase of the sintering temperature.There exists green and red photoluminescence peaks at 512 and 670nm when excited by a laser source(427nm).While the former results from 4T1→6A1 transition of the Mn2+,the latter derives from Mn4+.In the atmosphere of reduction,the intensity of red emission peak decreases and then disappears,while the intensity of green emission peak is enhanced when the sintering temperature increased from 600℃ to 900℃.关键词
