Abstract

6-N,N-dibutyl amine 1,3,5-triazine-2,4-dithiol(DB) and 3-mercaptopropyl trimethoxysilane(MPTES) were used to prepare the single and composite self-assembled films on copper alloy surface.The films were characterized by means of Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR) spectroscopy,contact angle and polarization measurements,and immersion test in salty water.The results show that the contact angle of copper alloy surface covered by composite self-assembled film is up to 107.3° compared with 85.8° of bare copper.From FT-IR spectra of the films formed on copper surface,the C=N-stretching vibration peaks of triazine ring at 1 567cm-1,1 538cm-1 and 1 467cm-1 and the peaks of Si-O-Si at 1 106cm-1 and 1 021cm-1 are observed,indicating the formation of the self-assembled composite film on copper surface.The immersion experiment in salty water and polarization curves indicate that the anti-corrosion performance of self-assembled composite film is better than that of single self-assembled film.
