Abstract
A comparative analysis of tourism development can help identify characteristics of regional tourism to better formulate more effective development initiatives. Through the vertical analysis, it has been found that tour- ism growth in Changshu City tends to be steady, and tourists are concentrated in a few tourist attractions. Through the horizontal comparative analysis, it is found that domestic tourism in Changshu is more advantageous in regional competition than inbound tourism, which is more dependent on Suzhou City. Accordingly, tourist product system in Changshu City should be improved and leading tourist products should be explored to improve the tourism through more efficient marketing and scientific concept of competition.关键词
