Abstract
Resonant circuits modeling are developed using the orthogonal circuit synthesis. For a given resonant tank, its orthogonal counterpart was constructed. These two orthogonal tanks were combined into a complex resonant tank. By applying Kirchhoff's Voltage Law (KVL) and Kirchhoff's Current Law (KCL) to the complex circuit, the complex differential equations were derived into the real and imaginary parts to obtain two equations for the resonant tank. For resonant DC/DC converters, other state equations could be derived from rectifier stages. By perturbing these equations around the DC operating point and using the LAPLACE transform, the transfer functions such as control-to-output could be derived. The proposed method was verified by PSPICE and SIMPLIS simulation.关键词
