The Evolving Role of Xingqing Palace in Urban Space From Palace to Relic and Cultural Recreational Park
摘要
Abstract
Xingqing Palace Park is a relic park and is an important node in the urban space of Xi’an during the historic and cultural protection and planning process for Xi’an.With an analysis of the historical documents,archaeological materials,reports and field investigation,this article explored the evolving role of Xingqing Palace.It is transformed from a palace to a relic and to a cultural and recreational park.It also figured out the importance of Xingqing Palace in Tang Dynasty and contemporary urban space.关键词
