摘要
Abstract
Silicon nitride ceramics were obtained by gas press sintering (GPS) with PR, and effect of residual carbon from PR thermal decomposition on pore distribution, microstructure and mechanical properties of silicon nitride was studied. The results show that; the residual carbon from PR thermal decomposition decreases relative density, flexural strength and fracture toughness, but the pore became large and more. The reason is that, residual carbon changes the composition of liquid phase as a component, promotes Y2SiA105N and Al8SiC7 crystals phase precipitating from glass phase, affect the glass phase distribution among silicon nitride grains, result in large grains and micro-pores formed.v关键词
