Abstract

Abstract

The dynamic mechanical properties of carbon fiber three-dimension and four-direction braiding composites with different fiber volume fraction were studied. The effect of different fiber volume fraction on the vibration properties of carbon fiber three-dimension and four-direction braiding composites was analyzed. The experimental results show that with the increasing of fiber volume fraction, the natural frequency of braiding composites becomes larger and damping ratio becomes smaller. The greater fiber volume fraction is, the higher peak value of natural frequency will be; the attenuating degree of acceleration' amplitude becomes slower and the clamping characteristics becomes poorer.
