Numerical Simulation and Optimization of Internal Flow Field in the High Pressure Coal Conveying Pump Based on the Dynamic Mesh

Abstract
In order to solve the blocking and backflow problems of high pressure coal conveying pump during its practical operation and improve its conveying efficiency, the dynamic numerical simulation of three-dimensional unsteady viscous incompressible flow in the experimental facility was conducted with the dynamic mesh model and UDF (User Define Functions) offered by FLUENT. This method breaks the limitations of static analysis and can simulate the dynamic process of the internal flow field in the pump more actually. During the periodic motion of the pump, the corresponding flow field variation can be obtained, and the simulation results agree well with practical operation results. With adjusting the pump structural size and its motional parameters, optimization of simulation was conducted, and the operation effect of the pump was improved, which solve the blocking problem and alleviate the backflow basically. This work may provide the technical foundation for domestic production of high pressure coal conveying pump.关键词
