摘要

Abstract

[Objective]The effects of 6-BA and 2,4-D on growth and development of Dioscorea bulbifera L budded stems was studied in order to utilize the technique in large scale production of Dioscorea bulbifera L. piantlets. (Method] Using plant tissue culture methods, D. bulbifera L. budded stems ( 0.5-1.5 cm ) were inoculated into liquid culture media in single factor experiment. [Result]MS medium was best for bud multiplication, rooting, and increase in shoot diameter. The best medium for growth of regenerated buds and increase in bud diameter and shoot length of D. bulbifera L. were identified as MS+6-BA 1 mg/L+2,4-D 0.5 mg/L,MS+6-BA 2 mg/L+2,4-D 0.1 mg/L and MS+6-BA 2 mg/L+2,4-D 0.1 mg/L, respectively. [Conclusion]The hormone combination 6-BA and 2,4-D could be used for growth of regenerated buds and increase in bud diameter and shoot length of D. bulbifera L.
