The Defects and Reconstruction of Rationality in Traditional Chinese Culture
摘要
Abstract
Through adequate rationalization the modern western civilization greatly facilitates the development of western society. By contrast, there is no rational constituent in traditional Chinese culture. Therefore, it is necessary to advocate the transformation of traditional Chinese thinking mode. During the transformation, much attention should be paid to the function of logic education. Never- theless, what should be done is not completely abandoning the tradition, but reconstructing a new rationalism, which is based on the fundamental property of Chinese civilization and the concentration of all kinds of positive achievements of modern civilization. By doing so, the Chinese civilization can be successfully transformed and modernized.关键词
