As a Subject and a Master--Dual Involvements of Confucius＇ Worry
摘要
Abstract
It is generally considered that happiness occupies a very important position in Confucius＇ life and he is seldom worried and sorrowful. However, as a natural psychological state, worries and sorrows are common to everyone, and Confucius is no exception. Confucius＇ worry derive from an intellectuals＇ strong sense of responsibility, which makes him worried about the neglect of moral cultiva- tion of both his disciples and the monarch of his time. What＇s more, his worry is intrinsically involved with the cultivation of his ideal character and the realization of ideal society. Therefore, Confucius＇ worry not only involves the mental dimension of personal morality, but also the social dimension of orderly governance.关键词
