高职英语教学有着不同于普通高等学校非英语专业英语教学的特点,它更侧重于英语学习的实用性和专业特色。高职院校强调的工学结合模式给英语教学提出了新的要求和挑战,因此教师应该从课上和课下都给学生提供学习尤其是运用英语的平台。
Higher vocational English teaching has a special characteristic compared with common higher education. It emphasizes the practicability and has a professional feature. The work-integrated learning mode gives new requirements and challenge to higher vocational English teaching. Teachers should provide a wide platform for students to practice in and out of class.
