Preparation of Modified Fly Ash and Adsorption of Disperse Blue

Abstract
The fly ash was modified by polydimethyldiallylammonium chloride(PDMDAAC). The effects of preparation conditions on PDMDAAC loading were investigated through orthogonal tests. Under the optimum conditions of reaction temperature 70 ℃, reaction time 3 h, PDMDAAC mass concentration 50 g/L and solution pH 10, the PDMDAAC loaded on fly ash is 0.98 mg/g. When the adsorption temperature is 30 ℃, the initial mass concentration of disperse blue is 50 mg/L and the dosage of PDMDAAC modified fly ash is 4 g/L, the removal rate of disperse blue is 98%, The absorption accords with Langmuir adsorption model.关键词
