Properties of waste epoxy/PVC composites

Abstract
The composite material is produced by waste epoxy. By orthogonal test, the influence order compression molding with polyvinyl chloride(PVC) and of addition of epoxy, dosage of silane coupling agent (KH-550) , pressing time on the mechanical properties of composite material was analyzed and the optimal conditions of orthogonal experiment were also determined. Moreover, effects of the content of epoxy, the dos- age of silane coupling agent, and the pressing time on the mechanical properties of composite material were dis- cussed and the most optimized qualifications were confirmed. The results showed that when the pressing time was 10 min, the addition of epoxy was 70% and the dosage of silane coupling agent was 2 portions, the com- posite material had optimal performance, with the impact strength of 10.49 kJ/m2 and the tensile strength of 62.24 MPa.关键词
