Dynamic fracture test and numerical simulation of rectangular plate under low velocity collision
摘要
Abstract
Based on the rectangular plate collision test, a series of low velocity impact tests and numerical simulation results were given to examine the fracture characteristics of plates struck by a sharp nosed project. The Johnson-Cook constitutive and failure model were used in numerical simulation and the mesh size effect was considered. The crash worthiness and fracture characteristics of different thickness plate were discussed. The results show that the parameters of the failure model and mesh size in the paper can predict the fracture process exactly, and increasing the thickness of plate can improve the crashworthiness obviously.关键词
