Having survived 14 years of a patient with esthesioneuroblastoma after surgery and radiotherapy:A case report and literature review

Abstract
Objective To study the clinical symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of esthesioneuroblastoma (ENB) by retrospectively analyzing a case of ENB and reviewing the relative literature. Methods ENB in a male patient was radically resected after radiotherapy at DT 30Gy before operation and received local supplement radiotherapy at DT 20Gy after operation. The whole neck and metastatic lymph node region received radiotherapy at DT40Gy and DT56Gy, respectively. Results The patient has survived 14 years after comprehensive treatment with tumor free. Conclusion Operation in combination with radiotherapy can achieve good therapeutic effects against ENB.关键词
