180名医务人员艾滋病相关歧视的认知和行为研究
Cognition and Behavior of AIDS Related Stigma and Discrimination among 180 Medical Care Staff

Abstract
[ Objective ] To identify the cognition and behavior of AIDS related stigma and discrimination among medical care staff, to reveal the sufferings in seeking medical advice among people living with HIV/AIDS (PHA), and to provide props for AIDS anti-discrimination among medical care staff. [ Methods ] A total of 180 medical care staff in a district of Shanghai was surveyed with structured questionnaires and qualitative interviews were conducted among 50 PHA to collect relevant information. [ Results ] Discrimination against the PHA existed among the medical care staff, with the average stigma and discrimination score of 29.3. There were statistical differences in the level of stigma and discrimination between different occupations, positions and hospital levels (P<0.05). [ Conclusion ] It is urgent to strengthen the training on AIDS related laws and regulations among the medical care staff in Shanghai to reduce and eventually eliminate AIDS related stigma and discrimination.关键词
