Abstract
Based on Halliday＇s SFG, specifically the interpersonal function, an analysis was made about the realization of interpersonal meanings in the discourse of political TV interviews from aspects of Mood and modality. The data is an episode taken from Feng Yun Dui Hua, an interview between the TV host Ruan Cishan and the former US Secretary of State Colin Luther Powell. the interpersonal meanings are adequately realized in the political TV interview and speakers＇ remarks are revealed to a certain extent .关键词
