摘要

Abstract

The rotary balance system in Φ5m vertical wind tunnel is a kind of important basic equipment which is designed and established for research of airplane spin characteristics. It is mainly used for observing aerodynamic characteristics while the test model spins around wind axis with different velocities, and providing the necessary aerodynamic parameters to analyse and predict the spin characteristics. In this rig a double-stand support structure is adopted, and the test process is controlled by network communication. It is not only used for the rotary balance test, but also for dynamic derivatives test, high angle of attack test and coupled rotary/oscillatory test. In this paper the structure and design of the rotary balance system are presented, then the result of introductory test is analysed, and finally the conclusion is drawn.
