Abstract

The high speed and the precision is a development orientation for the aircraft in the future and an effective means that will enhance efficiency of the aircraft . But these depend on the ground simulation facility, i. e. wind tunnel intensively. At present, the sizes and test capabilities of the supersonic wind tunnels in China are far from enough in aspects of veritable simulation, simulation capability, accurate measurement and so on. In this background 2m supersonic wind tunnel was developed. The general structural design based on characteristics of this wind tunnel is introduced in this paper, which is a blowdown-ejector-intermittent wind tunnel with full-steel structure. The general information of the structural design is described, especially on the whole layout, model convertible mode, support position arrangement, the joint, seal and orientation of different sections, intensity and rigidity of the pressurized shell, water pressure test of the pressurized shell, and so on.
