Abstract
Automatic drilling and riveting technique is an advanced joint technology commonly used in the aircraft assembly process. In view of the inadequacy of the technology accumulation in domestic, the riveting components produced by two automatic drilling and riveting equipments and manual drilling and riveting are fatigue tested respectively. The test results show that the fatigue lifes of the riveting components produced by automatic drilling and riveting are improved, compared with those produced by manual drilling and riveting when the process parameters are appropriate. The different squeezing forces and speeds influence the fatigue life of the structure, and the parameter control precision using automatic drilling and riveting is higher than that using manual drilling and riveting.关键词
