Abstract
Liriodendron hybrid has been the lack of a valid binomial name for a long time, commonly the hybrid was used a hybrid formula of expression, namely Liriodendron chinense ( Hemsl. ) Sarg. × L tulipifera L.. In general scientific report or document, the hybrid is often a L. chinense subsidiary, never regarded as a level of species. The hybrid is a separate species, has its distinct morphological and biological characteristics, has been widely cultivated and used in China. According to the " International Code of Botanical Nomenclature" on hybrid name naming rules, the name of hybrid is newly revised. Now the new name is Liriodendron sino-americanum (P.C Yieh) ex Shang et Z. R. Wang.关键词
