摘要

Abstract

The reservoir sedimentation problem is directly related to the size, life,and performance of the comprehensive economic efficiency of the reservoir. The inflow sediment concentration is the main influencing factor for the operation of reservoir regulation and reservoir sedimentation. However, the sediment concentration prediction models are rare which have a simple structure and strong applicability. Based on the flow rate at the inflow station and the flow rate between the upstream station and inflow station,a prediction model of reservoir inflow sediment concentration was presented. The model parameters were calibrated u-sing the improved Free Search and the model was applied to predict the sediment concentration in the Gongzui reservoir. The results showed that the model structure is simple, the calibration of model parameters is convenient, and the simulation accuracy is high. Therefore, this model provides a simple and practical method for the forecast of the reservoir sediment concentration.
