系统功能语法理论对单个语篇在语境、主住结构、衔接等方面的有机整合具有重要作用。把系统功能语法框架的语篇分析与阅读教学融汇贯通，既有利于培养学生阐释和赏析语篇的能力，同时，也能提升学生阅读过程中的逻辑思维能力。
Within the frame of Systematic Functional Grammar, this paper studies a single text in aspects of context, theme structure and cohesion, in the order to confirm the theory of discourse analysis, and furthermore, to explore a more effective approach to English reading teaching.
