Abstract
Twelve six-year-old Alnus formosana trees collected from four places in Leshan and Guangyuan of Sichuan province were taken as experimental sample trees and analysis was made of the relationship of the physical properties and site conditions by using the canonical correlation analysis method. Results in- dicated that the modulus of elasticity, bending strength and impact toughness would increase with the de- crease of pH and nitrogen content of the soil ; Meanwhile, the increase of K and P in the soil, sunshine du- ration and annual rainfall would reduce the bending strength, impact toughness and cleavage resistance of Alnus formosana.关键词
