A Generalization of Stirling Numbers of the Second Kind
摘要
Abstract
A Stirling number of the second kind is the number of ways to partition a set of n objects into k non-empty subsets and denoted by S2 (n,k). Stirling numbers of the second kind occur in the field of mathematics called combinatorics. In this paper, a generalization of Stirling numbers of the second kind is defined by generalizing the combinatorical generating functions. Some new formulas for this kind of numbers are obtained. Some existing results about Stirling numbers of the second kind are generalized.关键词
