摘要
Abstract
To discuss the value of tension-free hernia repair for umbilical hernia in alduts. Methods Twenty-five cases of adult patients with umbilical hernia admitted between September 2010 and January 2012 in the country center of hospital cape verde were analyzed retrospectively in terms of methods,characteristics and effects of prolene hernia system in the re-spairing of umbilical hernia in adults. Results All cases were cured. The mean operation time was 70 min. The average stay in hospital was 9 days (5 days after operation). The postoperative complications included:wound infection of incision (1 casa) .subcutaneous seroma (1 case). No recurrence was followed up during 3—18 months. Conclusion Tension-free hernia repair is a better safe,effective operation for umbilical hernia in adults, and it has many Advantages,such as littler operation time .safety,rapid recovery,good early therapeutic effect and lower recurrence rate.关键词
