Abstract
To investigate the clinical therapeutic effects of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease combined with type II respiratory failure cured with Bi-level positive airway pressure. Methods From July 2008 to April 2011, 153 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease combined with type II respiratory failure were admitted to our department, we divided these before-mentioned patients into 2 groups, the observation group included 76 patients and received routine treatment and Bi-level positive airway pressure, the control group included 77 patients and received simple routine treatment. We compared the blood gas analysis results before and after treatment of these patients. Results Before treatment, there were no significant differences in pH.partial pressure of oxygen(PaO2) and partial pressure of carbon dioxide(PaCO2) ,oxygen saturation(Sa02) between the observation group and the control group(P > 0. 05) . After treatment, the pH-,PaO2,Sa02in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group, respectively; the PaC02in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group. Conclusion The clinical therapeutic effects of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease combined with type II respiratory failure cured with Bi-level positive airway pressure were excellent, and this treatment program is worthy of being prompted and applied.关键词
