摘要

Abstract

Hie effects of two kinds of silicon fertilizers (Na2SiO3·9H2O and rice hull) on the growth and development, resistance and yield of good rice cultivar Koshihikari were studied by field experiment The results showed that the application of both silicon fertilizers could shorten the length of basal internode, reduce the plant height, improve the plant type, prolong the functional period of leaves, strengthen the resistance to lodging and diseases and increase the percentage of available tillers and seed setting rate, so the rice yield could increase obviously. The yield - increasing effect was the most significant when the application rate of Na2SiO3·9H2O was 120 g/m2, which was followed by the treatment with 1 kg/m2 rice hull Compared to the CK, they increased by 17.0% and 15. 7% respectively. Using rice hull as silicon fertilizer could control the plant growth in earlier period and make the later - period growth steady, thereby increase the resistance to diseases and lodging. However, the grain yield could be reduced due to the insufficiency of population growing capacity, if too much rice hull was applied.
