Research on Preparation Technology and Performance of LDPE/nano-CaCO3 Foam Composites

Abstract
LDPE/nano-CaCO, foam composites were prepared through molded foam method. The effects of different contents of nano-CaCOj, blowing agent AC, and cross linking agent DCP on the mechanical properties and foaming effect of LDPE/nano-CaCO3 foam composites were studied. The results show that: with the increase of nano-CaCO3 contents, the tensile strength and apparent density of the foaming composites increase gradually, but the foaming ratio decreases gradually. When the contents of nano-CaCO3, AC, and DCP are 30%, 9%~11%, and 0.08% respectively, the comprehensive performances of foam composites are optimal. The thermogravimetric analysis indicates that the thermal stability of LDPE foaming composite improves with the addition of nano-CaCO3.关键词
