Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression of Ezrin and c-Mel in gastric carcinoma and its clinical significance. Methods Immunohistochemistry was applied to detect the expression of Ezrin and c-Met in 45 cases of gastric carcinoma,25 cases of gastric adenoma and 20 cases of normal gastric nracosa. The relationships between their expression and the clinicopathologicai parameters were analyzed. Results The expression of Ezrin and c-Met in gastric carcinoma was significantly higher than those in gastric adenoma and normal gastric mucosa( P < 0.05). The expression of Ezrin and c-Met was related to the invasion depth. The degree of differentiation and lymph node metastasis or distant metastasis(P <0. 05) ,but not to gender,age and tumor diameter(P >0.05). A positive correlation was found between Ezrin and c-Met expression in gastric carcinoma tissues(r =0.603 ,P < 0.001). Conclusion Ezrin and c-Met are closely related to the development,invasion and metastasis of gastric carcinoma. Ezrin and c-Met are synergic in the occurrence and development of gastric carcinoma. Combined detection of Ezrin and c-Met is helpful for clinical doctors to predict the prognosis in patients with gastric carcinoma.关键词
