Expression and Significance of Survivin, FHIT and bFGF in Cervical Squamous Cancer
摘要
Abstract
Objective:This paper aimed to study the expression of FHIT, survivin and bFGF in normal cervical tissue, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and cervical squamous cancer tissue as well as the relationship between the three factors and cervical squamous cancer clinicopathologic features so as to explore their role in the development of cervical squamous cancer. Methods:The specimens were collected during surgery in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January, 2008 to November, 2009. They included 45 cases of cervical squamous cancer, 45 cases of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN) and 15 cases of normal cervixs. Streptavidin perorxidase immunostaining technique was used to examine the expression of survivin, FHIT and bFGF in these specimens. Rusults:The expressions of survivin increased gradually from normal cervix, CIN to cervical squamous cell carcinoma^2 =11.429,P<0. 05). Also the expression of survivin was significantly correlated with clinical stage and histological grade ( P < 0.05). The expression of FHIT decreased gradually from normal cervix, CIN to cervical squamous cell carcinoma(x2 -24. 640, P < 0.05). The expression of FHIT was significantly correlated with lymph node metastases (P<0.05). The expression of bFGF increased gradually from normal cervix, CIN to cervical squamous cell carcinomax2 = 17. 552,P<0.05). The expression of bFGF was correlated with clinical stage, pathological grade and lymph node metastases (P<0.05). Conclusions:Survivin, FHIT, bFGF have roles in the development of cervical lesions, especially in the carcinogenesis and metastases of cervical squamous cell carcinoma.关键词
