The Limitations and Root Causes of the Traditional Theory on Geographical Environment
摘要
Abstract
The traditional theory on geographical environment is possessed of both rational factors and positive meanings, but it, rather than really reflecting the thought of the classic writers of Marxism on the social role of geographical environment, totally repudiates the geographical environmental determinism and belittles the social role of geographical environment. Therefore, contemporarily, re-recognizing the limitations and root causes of the traditional theory on geographical environment and the social role of geographical environment is of much significance, whether theoretically or immediately, for the purposes of developing the Marxist theory of geographical environment, holding up the concept of scientific development, strengthening the construction of ecological civilization and furthering the harmonious development of man and nature .关键词
