Abstract

According to the cementing difficulties on Jurassic reservoirs in Changqing field, resulting from the high permeability, oil and water in the same layer, and active bottom aquifer, the new slurry system was developed, with the functions of slight expansion, early strength, and decreasing water loss. The field tests on 123 wells in Jing'an field in 2010 proved that the slurry has good rheol-ogy, low water loss, showing rectangle for thickening curve, and high early pressure resistant strength. It solved the difficulty of poor cementing quality on Jurassic reservoir in Jing'an field, with the cementing qualification ratio of 100% and the excellent ratio of 81.3%. The technique improves cementing quality siganificantly, and supplies reliable technical support for quickly and efficiently developing Jurassic reservoirs.
