Abstract
Press conferences are important diplomatic occasions where the speaker informs the public of government poli- cies, regulations and information, using fuzzy expression for that purpose. Based on transcripts from press conferences, this essay explores the use of fuzzy expression in press conference interpreting by defining 2 concepts, approximators and vague numbers. Translation strategies will also be discussed.关键词
