A Fully Discrete Spectral Method for Semilinear Wave Equation in Unbounded Domain
摘要
Abstract
Numerical solution for a semilinear wave equation with strong damping in unbounded domain is investigated. The fully discrete spectral scheme is constructed on the basis of the Hermite spectral method in space and a second order finite difference scheme in time. The stability and the convergence of the scheme are proved. Numerical results prove the accuracy and effectiveness of this method.关键词
