摘要

Abstract

Thermal recovery technique has been a major way of enhancing heavy oil recovery for a long time. Heavy oil reservoirs have low water flooding recovery and some ( such as thiu, deep or heat sensitive reservoirs) are unsuitable for thermal recovery, therefore the technology of heavy oil chemical flooding has been developed on the basis of light oil chemical flooding. It has been found through researches in recent years that heavy oil recovery can be greatly enhanced by combining thermal recovery with chemical flooding techniques. Based on investigation of enormous related literatures, this paper reviews the research progress on chemical flooding and thermochemical flooding, analyzes the mechanism of enhanced heavy oil recovery and existing problems, and believes that thermochemical flooding with horizontal well will be an important technology for future heavy oil recovery.
