Expression and clinical significance of sperm associated antigen 9 in the tissue of leiomyosarcoma
摘要
Abstract
Objective: To investigate the expression of sperm associated antigen9 (SPAG9)in the tissue of leiomyosarcoma, cellular leiomyoma and uterine leiomyoma and its clinical significance. Methods: Immunohistochemistry staining were used to detect the expression of SPAG9 on the protein level in the tissue obtained from 19 patients with leiomyosarcoma,22 patients with cellular leiomyoma and 30 patients with uterine leiomyoma. Results: In the tissue of leiomyosarcoma, SPAG9 expression rate was 100% , In the cellular leiomyoma the expression rate was 100% ,and the expression rate in leiomyoma tissue was 0. The Formwitz score of leiomyosarcoma tissue was higher than cellular leiomyoma and uterine leiomyoma,the difference was statistically significant(P<0. 05). In the expression of SPAG9 in leiomyosarcoma, different number of nuclear division tissue have different SPAG9 protein expression, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05). Different cellular atypia tissue have different SPAG9 protein expression, and the difference is statistically significant ( P<0. 05). Conclusion: The abnormal expression of SPAG9 protein in leiomyosarcoma might be related with the occurrence and prognosis of leiomyosarcoma. SPAG9 has the possibility to be the biological marker for differential diagnosis of leiomyosarcoma and cellular leiomyoma.关键词
