摘要
Abstract
Objective To observe the contents of intermedin in the plasma of rats with hypoxic pulmonary arterial hypertension and the distribution of intermedin in their lungs tissues. Methods Adult male Wistar rats were randomly divided into control group,hypoxia for 1 w group, hypoxia for 2 w group, and hypoxia for 3 w group. Rats in the control group were bred in the outboard normoxia environment, and ones in the other three groups were bred in the low pressure chamber which simulated the highly hypoxic environment of 5000 m above the sea level for continuous 7 h everyday. Blood samples were obtained from common carotid artery. Radio - immunity method was used to detect the plasma intermedin, and immunohistochemical method was used to detect the distribution of intermedin in lungs. Results The contents of plasma intermedin in the control group, hypoxia for 1 w group, hypoxia for 2 w group,and hypoxia for 3 w group were respectively( 138. 6 ±5. 3 ),( 154. 6 ±20. 2 ),( 158. 8 ±21. 3 ),and( 166. 3 ± 12. 2 )pg/ml. The contents in the hypoxic groups all increased, and the increased content in the hypoxia for 3 w group was the most obvious, which was significantly higher than that in the control group( P <0. 05 ). The intermedin existed in many kinds of cells of rats'lung tissues. Conclusion Intermedin plays a significant role in the pathological and physiological development of hypoxic pulmonary arterial hypertension.关键词
