摘要

Abstract

A idea of the half-sliding hydroforming technology and the hydroforming process of a small automobile housing is introduced. A sample is generated using a common press. The technology of bulging and crushing deforming automobile housing is developed. In this technology, the pre-formed tube blank being of axisymmetric shape is first hydroformed from the chosen seamless tube which ends necked and then charged with liquid and crushed with the die. It is found through the comparison with the hydroforming samples that the bulging and crushing deforming samples has a good formability, a better wall thickness distribution, and the lower forming pressure.
