Auger energies and Auger branching ratios of the core-excited resonances 1s2s(3S) 2p3 of C+ ion

Abstract
Auger energies,Auger branching ratios of the five-electron core-excited resonances 1s2s(3 S)2p32,4P°,2,4D° of C+ ion are calculated using the saddle-point variation and saddle-point complex-rotation methods.The convergence of Auger transition rate is investigated.Calculated Auger energies and branching ratios are used to identify high-resolution Auger spectrum in the 300 keV C+→CH4 collision experiment.It is found that Auger decay of these five-electron core-excited resonances give significant contributions to the Auger spectrum in the range 253~273 eV.Our results are in good agreement with the experimental data.关键词
