A Three-level Active Power Quality Compensator Based on Three-phase Two-leg Converters

Abstract
A simplified three-level active power quality compensator was discussed to manage power quality of nonlinear and unbanlanced loads, which consists of a three-phase two-leg inverter and a voltage-balance circuit. Based on the analysis of the switch model, the deadbeat control equations of inverter were derived, and then the feedforward decoupling method was used to eliminate the coupling relation of two switch legs in equations to achieve an independent control for them. For the voltage-balance problem, a voltage-balance circuit of small capacity was adopted, and a voltage-balance control based on the current closed-loop was proposed to achieve the dynamic balance of DC-link voltage. Finally, simulation and experimental results verified the correctness of the proposed structure and control method.关键词
