Probabilistic production simulation of power systems with large-scale wind and photovoltaic generation

Abstract
Considering the rules of power supply planning, generation costs of power systems with large-scale wind and photovoltaic power integration were assessed by probabilistic production simulation method. According to the characteristics of wind and photovoltaic power, the involvement rules of wind and photovoltaic power in probabilistic production simulation were proposed. Indices of loss of wind energy expectation (LWEE) and abandoned wind rate (AWR) were defined to assess abandoned wind power quantitatively based on the proposed rules. The simulation results on IEEE-RTS system with wind farms and photovoltaic power sources demonstrate the feasibility and validity of the method.关键词
