Simulation of Particle Erosion in Moderate Temperature Dry Flue Gas Desulfurization Reactor

Abstract
In order to improve the situation that the Ca(OH)2 utilization rate was low due to the erosion between sorhent particles in moderate temperature dry flue gas desulfurization reactor, the direct quadrature method of moments (DQMOM) in the multi-fluid model which described the evolution of particle size distribution (PSD) was used to model the collision and erosion of sorbent particles in desulfurization reactor. The flaking and elutriation of fine particles due to collision was observed in the simulation results. The results show that DQMOM-multi-fluid model is an effective approach to model the collision and erosion of sorbent particles. This research has important values in improvement of the moderate temperature dry flue gas desulfurization.关键词
